I’m Directing a Feature Film!
I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be directing a low-budget comedy feature film titled The Foot Longing. The project is written by and starring Chris McNeany. It’s a brilliant, funny, heart felt comedy that I can’t wait to get to the screen.
The Foot Longing explores longing, connection, and the small, strange ways people try to bridge the gaps between themselves. It’s quirky and heartfelt, funny and tender, grounded in real emotional stakes that I think will stay with audiences long after the credits roll. We’ve built a strong creative team and a clear visual plan that will allow us to stretch every dollar for maximum cinematic impact.
We plan to begin principal photography in October 2026. That gives us time to lock casting, finalize locations, and assemble the lean, focused crew needed for a production of this scope. We’ll be shooting on location in Los Angeles and Palm Springs. The timing lets us prepare thoroughly so when cameras roll in October, we hit the ground running.
We’re fundraising now because early support unlocks everything: paying cast and crew fairly, securing key locations, building practical sets and props, covering equipment rental and insurance — is given the attention it deserves. Low-budget filmmaking succeeds when the community rallies around it; every contribution moves us closer to making this film a reality.
