A Lot Going On

Well that was a busy new year! Usually the time around Christmas and New Years is pretty slow, but not this year. Here are a few of the projects I’ve been working on for the past month.

Real Estate

I completed a bunch of real estate projects for various clients. Again, this usually isn’t the time for things to sell, but properties are moving.

Hockey Commercial

I was asked to put together this advertisement for the CV Pride Hockey organization to play during the local Firebirds game. I wasn’t able to be at the game to see it played, but I thought that was pretty fun. Shooting it was interesting because I forgot to bring a jacket so I was freezing. I also had to be given special shoe covers that had spikes so I could go out on the ice and get the group shot. All stuff I had never had to deal with before.

The Palm Springs International Film Festival

In the first few weeks of January, I was hired to film various events at the Palm Springs International Film Festival. I can’t share any of the footage, but I was able to get pretty up close and personal with a lot of big celebrities. It was fun and challenging at the same time. There was a lot going on, and a lot changing throughout each day. But we got it all done!
